I was attending an official Fuji X meeting in Warsaw this meeting and let me tell you.. it was a blast. So many talented and eager to connect people, great workshops with Szymon Szcześniak (in Studio Praga with models) and lectures with Tomasz Lazar (on how to approach assignments), Paweł Kosicki (on his trips to Mexico and gear) and Monika Szewczyk-Wittek (on very valuable editorial stuff).
Apart of all of the above, there was the opportunity to test some gear out and shoot. The participants could grab few X100Fs, X-T2s with variety of lenses. I mainly tested Fuji's medium format GFX 50s camera and, very briefly, XPro-2. Let me tell you that this medium format of theirs (although smaller when compared to Hasselblad) is something pretty awesome and, I think, is a milestone in a camera history. You get 51 Mpix in a body weighing same as my Nikon D750 and you don't have to buy any additional stuff like digital back, you're ready to go. It focuses fast and has a touch screen that you can tilt. Most of the photographs in this essay are from Fuji GFX 50s coupled with GF110mmF2 R LM WR lens, very few with XPro2 and some with my X100F (I will mention which is which in the description).
I'm so packed with information, new energy that I am more than eager to get out and shoot. Thanks Fuji for doing an awesome job of building a strong community and doing such events for X system users. All this in such a lovely/family/friendship fashion. You are definitely standing out from the crowd.
